Robanda Tented Camp is positioned on a perfect location for enjoying views of the wildebeest migration, beyond the western boundary of Serengeti National Park.
Also, there is a large number of resident wild animals throughout the year for example large herds of zebras plus wildebeests, giraffes and some elephants. Some of the numerous other types of animals seen here include lions, hyenas, gazelles, topi, plus buffaloes.
The camp
Currently there are 5 luxury plus 5 “bush fashion” permanent tents at Robanda Safari Camp.
The luxurious tents are extremely large, with double and also twin beds plus an appropriate bathroom. Each has a private verandah looks over the vast Serengeti plains.
On the other hand, the “bush style” tents are spacious mobile tents that have been established up in a permanent way. All the tents have their private bathroom having a toilet plus bush shower.
Guests can always unwind on their private veranda as they enjoy the breathtaking view over the Serengeti swarmed with numerous zebras and wildebeests.
There is a wonderful open restaurant offering delicious dishes, along with a well stocked bar with an assortment of drinks. There is a water-hole about 30 meters from the bar which is visited by several animals that come to quench their thirst.
Wildlife protection plus community development
A Portion of the income earned by this Safari Camp is dedicated to community development projects like dispensaries and schools. By doing this the people residing in the Serengeti region can directly benefit from the protection of wildlife.
The region has a large number of wildlife all year round including buffaloes, several giraffes, numerous elephants, lions as well as some cheetahs

Activities
Since this Camp is situated on the exterior boundaries of the park, you can enjoy night game drives as well as guided nature (game) walks. The thrilling night drives are an exceptional opportunity to observe a number of nocturnal animals most tourists usually just hears about, for example Leopards, Aardvarks plus Bat-eared fox. You will personally experience the impressive night sounds of this African bush extremely different from the ones you will hear throughout the day!
Take a game walk accompanied by a ranger for safety for a thrilling bush experience and see the inhabitants in close proximity. After these early morning walks you will have a wonderful bush breakfasts, and then the sundowners are offered in the evening after the nature walks.
Additional activities include cultural visit to the neighboring Maasai village where you will be entertained with traditional dances and songs.
