This semi-permanent facility offers the perfect place to observe Serengeti’s highest regarded event through the middle of the dry season; the Great Migration. The establishment is situated just Forty-five minutes from the great River Mara, a wonderful crocodile-filled hurdle in the migratory path of this great herd, and you cannot request a better place to base for your game drives within Mara and the adjacent Lamai areas. Each year, on their journey to the north in search for pasture and water, this Great Migration flows through surrounding woodlands plus valleys and a thunderous match of more than two million animals goes through this area.
Location

In fact the camp is shifted to various locations throughout the year as it follows the great wildebeest migration on its annual journey. Mid the dry season the camp is moved within the very distant northern corner of Serengeti. The camp is approximately 45 minutes from River Mara and Lamai Triangle which are home to the numerous migrating animals during the dry season.
Accommodations
At Lemala Camp Accommodation is provided in 10 private luxury tents below canvas. The tents are positioned on wooden platforms with classy rug-sat on the ground level. These tents can be arranged to accommodate single plus double beds. The camp has two family tents each with a queen bed and 2 single beds. The tents are smartly fitted each with a writing desk, two bedside tables with candle-lamps, coffee station as well as storage trunks. At the rare end of each tent is an inside bathroom having a flushing toilet, mirror plus a dressing area.
The tents are spaced a distance from each other to ensure overall privacy. For security purposes, guests are at all times escorted to their tents as they move from the dining tent.
Food and Drink
Prepare for exceptionally delicious meals within the bush! The Dishes provided by Lemala Camp are fantastic! In addition they can make Breakfast Picnic boxes for people going for game drives very early in the morning if not then you can have your breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Just as it is with breakfast, lunch boxes can be prepared for those on game drives throughout the entire day.
Dinner is offered as a 4 course meals and the experienced chief carefully prepares each dish to ensure that guest have a wonderful meal. You will also be able to interact with other guest while at the common dining area.
