Kensington Serengeti
Kensington Serengeti Camp is found in the wide Serengeti plains that for years have and are still home to the Big Five, making this camp an ideal standpoint for any game viewing as well as really worth a visit anytime of the year. Kensington Serengeti Camp offers the most intimate link with nature herself. Found in the Kirawira part of the Grumeti corridor, in the western part of Serengeti Park, visitors experience the unique exhilaration of in close proximity with the world’s biggest migration.

How to get there
Kensington Serengeti Camp may be reached by air coming from Grumeti airstrip (only 10 minute drive from the camp), or by road coming from Ngorongoro (a 5 hours leisurely drive through the park that rewards guests with some game viewing). The camp is one hour from the large Lake Victoria, and three and a half hours from the border with Kenya.
Each of the large tents comprises of 5 areas. The large bedroom has 2 queen beds plus oversized windows that permit cool breezes as well as warm light to spread through. Just at the rear of the bedroom is a dressing room having a ceramic sink on a hand-carved wooden counter along with a huge mirror. The dressing room on one side has a private water closet plus a flush toilet and the other side a spacious shower room. Hot & cold flowing water enables guests to clean up following a day of adventure or unwind with a leisurely shower. Each tent has Electric lights and the camp is equipped with 220V plugs used to charge batteries plus other devices. Outdoors, the veranda is shaded, having canvas director’s chairs plus a reading table set at an angle to enjoy the best views. Have a cool drink or sip some tea as you view the various wild animals.

A tented camp perfectly located within the Kirawira area inside the Grumeti corridor, in Serengeti National Park’s western area.

Among the Leisure activities available here are: game drives within the western corridor as well as central Serengeti. Optional Balloon trips carried out within the nearby area.
