Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Arusha to Serengeti
Have a hefty breakfast at the hotel in Arusha and be picked up by your guide after breakfast at around 0700hours and embark on the 6 hours journey to Serengeti, this journey will be filled with a lot of scenic views such as the lush cater highlands where people have grown corn, coffee and wheat. Have a picnic lunch and proceed with the journey where will visit the Olduvai Gorge which a small museum that has great history about the human evolution and also the remains of the first humans to live on the earth; they were discovered by a couple Louis and Mary Leakey.
Thereafter continue and to the park and check in at your lodge where you will have dinner and have an overnight.
Day 2: Explore the Serengeti Plains
On this day you have a full day of exploring Serengeti. After an early breakfast head out for a game drive, you will drive along the tracks in the Serengeti plains, it is a great experience where you will see various wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, elands, hippos, elephants, zebras, impalas among others, birds like the cranes, pelicans, herons kites storks, egrets, cranes, eagles, vultures, ducks and also if you travelled during the time of the wildebeest migration you will enjoy watching these animals.
Have a lunch picnic with in the park and continue with the game drive in the park. Later dive back to your lodge for dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: Leave Serengeti for Arusha Town
Wake up early enough and have a simple cup of coffee and step out for a game drive that early morning where you will be able to spot the early risers, this will give you chance to see early morning killings as predators get food for starting their day. Finish the drive around 0945hours and head back to your lodge for a hefty breakfast. Immediately after breakfast checkout from the lodge and have a simple game drive since you will be heading out of the park.
You will arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon where your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or if your flight back home is on that day, he will drop you off at the Airport.
